FFV Class Abilities/Special Attacks Knight: Level 1- Protect weak friends from attacks. Level 2- Causes enemy to miss. Perfect defense. Level 3- Wield a one-handed sword with 2 hands. Attack is doubled. Level 4- Allows a shield to be used. Good for magic users. Level 5- Allows armor to be worn for those who can't. Level 6- Equip a sword like a knight. Monk: Level 1- Skips one round during battle to build up attack power. Level 2- Fight with no weapons with strength of monk. Level 3- Heals HP and poisons during battle. Level 4- Counterattack after being attacked directly. Level 5- Max HP is raised by 10% Level 6- Max HP is raised by 20% Level 7- Max HP is raised by 30% Thief: Level 1- Able to see hidden passages. Level 2- Escape from all battles before battle starts using L & R. Level 3- Allows characters to walk twice as fast by holding button B. Level 4- Steal treasures from enemies during battle. Level 5- Avoid direct attacks by 100% Level 6- Steal and attack at same time. Level 7- ??? Dragoon: Level 1- Jump attack. Level 2- Steal enemies' HP and MP. Level 3- Equip a spear like a dragoon. Ninja: Level 1- Run from battles at start. Level 2- Creates second image of oneself to avoid attacks. Level 3- Random surprise attack. Level 4- Throw used weapons or items. Level 5- Hold two weapons in one hand. Samurai: Level 1- Enemy is numbered by the attack. Level 2- Coin Toss. MOST POWERFUL ATTACK. Level 3- Randomly catches an attack. No damage. Level 4- Equip a katana like a samurai. Level 5- Kills with one hit. Berzerker: Level 1- Constantly berzerked during battle. Level 2- Equip axes like a berzerker. Archer: Level 1- Call upon animal friends to help during battle. Level 2- Aim. Hit rate increases. Level 3- Equip bows and arrows like an archer. Level 4- Four attacks at once. Each attack is ½ of total strength. Magic Knight: Level 1- Cast Shell when HP is dangerously low. Level 2- Cast Level 1 sword magic. Level 3- Cast Level 2 sword magic. Level 4- Cast Level 3 sword magic. Level 5- Cast Level 4 sword magic. Level 6- Cast Level 5 sword magic. Level 7- Cast Level 6 sword magic. White Mage: Level 1- Cast Level 1 white magic. Level 2- Cast Level 2 white magic. Level 3- Cast Level 3 white magic. Level 4- Cast Level 4 white magic. Level 5- Cast Level 5 white magic. Level 6- Cast Level 6 white magic. Level 7- Max MP is raised by 10%. Black Mage: Level 1- Cast Level 1 black magic. Level 2- Cast Level 2 black magic. Level 3- Cast Level 3 black magic. Level 4- Cast Level 4 black magic. Level 5- Cast Level 5 black magic. Level 6- Cast Level 6 black magic. Level 7- Max MP is raised by 30%. Time Mage: Level 1- Cast Level 1 time & space magic. Level 2- Cast Level 2 time & space magic. Level 3- Cast Level 3 time & space magic. Level 4- Cast Level 4 time & space magic. Level 5- Cast Level 5 time & space magic. Level 6- Cast Level 6 time & space magic. Level 7- Able to equip magic rods. Summoner: Level 1- Cast Level 1 caller magic. Level 2- Cast Level 2 caller magic. Level 3- Cast Level 3 caller magic. Level 4- Cast Level 4 caller magic. Level 5- Cast Level 5 caller magic. Level 6- Call a random Summoned Monster. Blue Mage: Level 1- See enemies' MAX HP, MP & weakness. Level 2- Gain ability to learn monster attacks. Level 3- Cast all blue magic. Level 4- See enemies' MAX HP, MP, weakness, & status. Red Mage: Level 1- Cast Level 1 black & white magic. Level 2- Cast Level 2 black & white magic. Level 3- Cast Level 3 black & white magic. Level 4- Cast 2 spells at the same time. Monster Trainer: Level 1- Monster becomes calm. Level 2- Able to control a monster in battle. Level 3- Equip whips like a Monster Trainer. Level 4- Capture a monster after it is weakened. Chemist: Level 1- Effects of all items are doubled. Level 2- Mix 2 items to form a new one. Level 3- Drink items made just for the Chemist. Level 4- Status of entire party is recovered. Level 5- All dead members are brought back to life. Elemental: Level 1- Use elemental attacks. Level 2- Floors that do damage when walked on are safe for travel. Level 3- See hidden traps in floors. Bard: Level 1- Hides during battle (Receives no damage, but can't attack) Level 2- Equip a harp like a bard. Level 3- Able to sing songs of the bard. Dancer: Level 1- Monsters become confused. Level 2- Monsters become confused and turn into frogs. Level 3- Able to wear a ribbon. Mimicer: Level 1- Mimics any act done by a previous character.
