SECRETS,TIPS AND HINTS

4 "secret"passways in SoM:

Matango`s Inn - go to the south- eastern corner of the Inn, and enter the
southern wall.

Tasnica - a path to the shop - go to the room where the shop is visible. Go
behind the counter, and enter the southern wall.

Tasnica 2 - When you`re in the main room (the first and the biggest one), go
left. go,go,go,go and you`ll find yourself in dead-end. Not exactly. step on
the yellow carpet and enter the eastern wall...!!!

Northtown - Southern part of the city. Ya can go behind the trees.

POTOS - That`s my favourite. If you want to get back to your home village
stand in front of the guard,come slowly to him and press select + up.Do it
again,and again, until you get inside. If you wanna go out do the same
thing.

Other interesting stuff:

When your spells are at lv. 8.60 or something they do special effects! Her`s
what I`ve found:

Air Blast - changes into tornado
Fire Ball - Three dragons attack the enemy
Lava wave - Your foe is sinking in lava
Exploder - Big explosion!
Earth Slide - smiley face
Gem Missle - SUPER!!! Check this out, and you`ll see!
Blaze wall - Flames are two times higher
Fire Boquet - Longer,bigger,better!
Freeze - Freeze balls are five times bigger!
Dark Force - three times longer and BIG explosion in the end
Burst - three times longer and bigger
Cure water - like royal Jam
Acid storm - nothing special
Lucent Beam - Lot of beams are surrounding your foes
Sabers of all kind - a little bit longer
Absorbs - Bigger balls

I think that`s all I`ve found

Fast magic technique - the best way to fight bosses. When you cast a spell
and elemental dissappears, automaticly cast another spell.VERY
USEFUL!!!!!!!!

there is a face in the ocean when you get out of MF...Somewhere...

There is a lighthouse somewhere around the Ice-country. It`s not on a map.

After MF is removed go to the Water Palace.Luka is locked in jail. release
her.

Oh, and on Squaresoft unnoficial page someone said that He think he had
found something hidden in the game,in the Red Dragon`s cave. THERE IS
NOTHING IN THERE!!! The Switch Skull he`s talking about is not a switch -
skull it`s just an usuall skull.

NEW!!! MONSTER TREASURE SECRETS!

Just another interesting thing in Secret of Mana. Treasure chests. Usually,
they contain useless stuff like Medical Herbs or candys, sometimes Cups of
Wishes. But sometimes,just sometimes, treasure chests will make you very
powerful!!!!!!!

Here are the monsters that can give you good treasure chests. They give
common treasures - you can get'em very easy - and rare treasures. You must
work for them with patience!!!!!

One of the best ones I found is Magical Armor in the Dark Palace, and it's
very easy to get!!!!! Kill many Dark Kinights, and you'll end up with many
Magical Armors, great exp and gp, but that's not it!!! Kill MANY of them and
you shall get a GAUNTLET!!!!!!!!!!! get it in the Dark palace, and you'll be
Ultra-powerful!! Gauntlet is one of the best armors in the game, if you
don't get it in the Palace, it will cost you 30000GP later. I STRONGLY
getting it for free, in the Dark Palace!!!!!!!

Dark Stalker's rare treasure might be Ninja's gloves. It's very powerful and
protects you from being tangled!

Steam Crabs in Upper Land give you Fearie Walnut very fast! Just kill 4 or 5
and you'll get a walnut! =)

Water Thug gives you Cobra Bracelet.(rare)
Turtlance - Tortoise Mail(rare)
Terminator gives Fearie Crown
Marmablue gives you Fearie Walnut
Ice Thug gives you Dragon Ring(rare)
Blue Drop gives Golden Tiara(rare)
Whimper gives you Power Suit
GOOD ONE: Polter Chair in Elinee's castle gives Barrels!(rare). You may need
a barrel in the castle....MAY. I just wrote it here becouse I think it's the
only monster that can give you a barrel..
National Scar in the Underground Palace gives you Amulet helm
Needlion in Pureland has Needle helm(rare)
Tomato Man in pandora ruins leaves Fearie Walnuts.. You might need them in
those spooky ruins..

Those are the best ones I've found.
