As requested, we've designed a small 'helptext' of our own to help those of you who are a bit more advanced in working in the SluggyMARE. On this page I have given some simple commands to help you personalize your space on the MARE.

@dig Room Name=Entrance;aliases, Exit; aliases* Room Name created. 14 gold Creates a room linked to where ever you specified.
@open exit=destination Exit Opened. 1 gold Creates an exit and links it to that destination. Destination does not need to be specified.
@link exit=destination Room Linked. 1 gold Links that room to that destination.
@desc [object] =description [Object] - Set. 0 Sets the description of said object.
@name [object]=new name Object -> new name. Set. 0 Renames specified object.
@caption [object]=text [Object] - Set. 0 Sets caption of object. (Wording next to the name)
colorlist Displays colors and their reference numbers. 0 So you can use @color or @cname
colorhelp Displays a more detailed colorlist 0 So you can use @color or @cname
@color [object]=color number [Object] - Set. 0 Sets the color of the specified object.
@cname [object]=color1, color2,...,colorn [Object] - Set. 0 Sets the color of the name of the specified object. Can use multiple colors to make patterns.
@alias [object]=alias1;alias2;...;aliasn [Object] - Set. 0 Sets the aliases of the object. (Shortcut of refering to an object) Must be used on exits to signify one-letter cardinal directions.
@lock [object]=[object] Locked. 0 Used to prevent unwanted company, designate private areas, and keep people from wandering off with your objects! Can be used on exits, rooms or objects.
@destroy [object] [Object] has left. 0 Used to get rid of unwanted objects.

* The best syntax for this command is @dig Room Name=Entrance;alias1;alias2, Exit;alias1;alias2. There is no limit on the number of aliases an object can have.

For those who don't want to repeatively type most of that above, we've created a quick build command. build room will send you through an automated process of naming, descing, linking, and opening a new room. Be sure you are standing in the room you want to link off of. This will teleport you into the brand new room you created.
